Working with Jun Meng
My mentoring style is shaped by the tremendous support I received from my own mentors, especially my PhD advisor, who modeled openness, flexibility, and genuine collaboration. I adopted the "open-door" policy from my advisor: if my door is open, you can walk in any time, and adapt my advising to each student’s working style, whether they prefer frequent guidance or more independent progress. I also encourage students to build collaborations both within and beyond our group. Ultimately, I aim to create a supportive and empowering space that helps students grow into confident, independent researchers.
