Ph.D. Opportunity - Fall 2026
I am seeking 1–2 Ph.D. students to join my research group at Washington State University (WSU) starting in Fall 2026. Interested applicants should complete this Google Form before submitting their official application. Successful candidates will work on research projects advancing air quality modeling and forecasting, with a particular focus on wildfire smoke modeling. Information about my research interests and current projects can be found on our research group page. Strong applicants will be contacted to schedule a Zoom interview.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with coding (e.g., Python, MATLAB) and Linux command-line environments
Background in environmental science, atmospheric science/chemistry, or computer science/ML
Coursework or research experience related to these fields
Experience with chemical transport models (e.g., GEOS-Chem, CMAQ) is preferred but not required
